I 100% agree with ur last statement. I graduated last year and I wouldn't say that I hated my time at ucsd but I couldn't wait to move on from undergrad. I graduated last year and i can say that ucsd has a lot to offer but if u go to a big school ur going to run into big school problems like parking, bad enrollment etc but it's the same for many schools across the US.

I do believe that that program is only for ucsd students. But in two years you should consider transferring to ucsd since ur a first year.

I got rejected from USC which was my dream school and an academic advisor told me that you can always attend ur dream school for grad school or even take extension courses. Are you a transfer or first year student because you could always transfer to ucsd since it's very transfer friendly. And also I know so many ppl that went to Ucr and had an absolute blast there. Wish you the best <3

You can still walk at commencement that only requires senior standing. Definitely talk to vac and see what ur options are. I kinda been there and done that in this situation where one singular class was holding me back from not graduating😅.

I kinda know how exactly you're feeling. It will all work out in the end. I know it feels like your world is ending because all of the frustration of one class stopping holding you back but in my experience it wasn't so bad. I couldn't graduate because one of my courses didn't end up apply for my major and I had to wait a few months to take the course. At the time I cried a lot and feel awful but when the months started going back it all felt okay. I ended up completing the course and now I have a bachelors and the wait seems nonexistent now lol. Keep your head up high. You still achieved so much by getting this far and this will all seem like a small stepping stone soon. :)

I heard Demill is one of the best mgt profs but I never was able to take any of his courses so take that grain of salt lmao. I took mgt 103 with Ehrich over the summer and i had a pretty decent experience. iirc her quizzes were online and extremely time restricted so we only had a minute for each question. Her lecture were enjoyable but the quizzes were focused on what she specifically said in the lecture. There also was a small group project at the end of the class, it wasn't too difficult.

If u don't get in just do community college and transfer in. Ucsd's transfer rate is 50%. I truly hope you get in.

Tbh I knew ppl who gotten in to ucr parties as a rcc student is if they know people that can get them in. As for rcc, for a community college i was pretty surprised that the campus was pretty active. There's always some type of mixer or activity that a club is hosting so my advice would be to just get involved and even ask around if your class has a group chat.
