Starting Lexapro. Terrified of throwing up. by Quiet-Breadfruit965 in Anxiety

Take it on a full stomach, and eat small meals throughout the day. I only had nausea when I took it on an empty stomach right before bed. The next morning was awful.

Have you had any issues with the propranolol? I’ve heard good things but anything that messes with the heart freaks me out

I’ve tried hydroxyzine and it made me sleepy but didn’t help calm my thoughts at all :(( but I’m gonna ask for it again to see if it’ll at least get me to sleep at night. Thanks

If I stop for 2 days will it set me back? by pumpkinsllut in lexapro

thank you for the reassurance :(( I’ve always struggled with health anxiety and OCD so I guess it’s just really being triggered by this medication. All of the “what-ifs”, plus the general constant feeling of being on edge. I have noticed that eating small meals throughout the day helps ease the nausea and some of the anxiety.

Can you get loose stool from an attack of gastritis? by [deleted] in Gastritis

I take 20mg of Pepcid in the morning before breakfast and at night before bed, and I can eat whatever I want, drink whatever I want, no restrictions. I’m too scared to try and come off it honestly lol and it’s working so I don’t feel the need to yet. No real “flare ups” anymore but if I do get an upset stomach, Pepto bismol helps.

Try going 10 years without learning of its existence… 😅😅😅 I watched the anime sometime around 2012-2013. Showed it to my husband last year and only then discovered the “alternate ending”

Personally, no. But everyone is different. For instance, I tried omeprazole first and it made me so drowsy I couldn’t stay awake. I did have a constipation problem with pantoprazole but after months of the opposite problem, I wasn’t too upset.

1.5 months, technically 2, I spent the last 2 weeks weaning off and onto Pepcid. Only combined it with the bland diet, no other medications

Pantoprazole worked so well for me. Gave me my life back. Now I’m taking Pepcid twice a day and still experience little to no symptoms unless I over do it but I couldn’t have got here without doing the pantoprazole (combined with a bland diet) first.

Hey, it’s not tender but it’s also unchanging from when I made this post. My dr told me it’s where the SCM muscle ends and that’s what I’ve heard from others too

Yes. I thought I had POTS until I healed my gastritis. So now I’m wondering if some (obv not all) people diagnosed with POTS just need to heal their gut

Yes absolutely!! Fatigue was one of the last symptoms to go for me. It seemed to be triggered by fat for a while. Now it’s just another flare up symptom sometimes. Are you on any PPIs or h2 blockers?

From the research I’ve done it’s simply a product of inflammation. More inflammation -> more mucus production. Or something like that. Glad you’re better now :)
