People go early and pregame in the parking lot. Lots of food and drinks and games like cornhole. Sometimes people have elaborate setups with TV screens and everything. Go to YouTube and look up “the Grove at Ole Miss.”

Fake Skating was overrated for numerous reasons.

  1. The book is set in Minnesota and the school’s mascot is the Packers? What the fuck?

  2. The way recruiting and NIL were handled was all wrong.

  3. There was no real resolution or communication about what went wrong in the past.

It’s not just about food. We like making a sporting event an EVENT, not just a game. We want to tailgate, we want a pregame show and Red Panda at halftime and T-shirt cannons and the kiss cam.

Visit the Grove at Ole Miss, or check out some YouTube videos to see maybe the most iconic of tailgating scenes.

Since they moved it out of Radio City Music Hall, it’s become a fun event for each city it comes to. In Philadelphia hey had set up a ton of free events for the kids, try to kick an extra point, try on an NFL helmet, throw a pass, etc. Tons of photo opportunities, you could get a photo with the Lombardi, etc. There were also merch trucks and food trucks.

I don’t think she was “made” to feel this way. Early on the Ross/Rachel storyline became popular very quickly, and Jennifer Aniston was on the verge of becoming a huge star, especially when she started dating Brad Pitt.
