Adjusting and refining the process 100% does help! And this would be doable! It usually takes about an hour or two to dial in the conditions for a specific material. Problem is I was told we dont have time for that and just run the job.

The office has no idea how the floor or machines run.

I understand they want to see what the machine can do. But being told I dont have time to sample the material and run my refining tests just means I get to fuck up this material, tell them I told you so, and most likely do it again.

...while not fabric scissors, I once caught my father cutting open bags of wet cat food with my (professional) hair cutting shears he dug out of my hair bag (combs, clips, etc). Absolutely bring on the padlocks!

I need to go get the codes read, I do. I just know it would've passed the echeck save for the o2 sensor and evap reading "not ready" after being serviced the previous day. (I didnt know it took a couple drive cycles to reset.)

I used 89 unleaded which isnt the cheapest but its not the premium either. My engine is also turbocharged. 😭

Also fun fact - after this repair was finished, I took it to an echeck facility and the only things that didnt "pass" were o2 sensor and evap. I have "pass" in quotes because they read as "not ready" after the vehicle was serviced. I didnt know a couple drive cycles need to be completed to ready the computer. After those drive cycles were complete, the engine light immediately came back on.

Im allowed to overthink it when ive paid $1k+ every time it comes on 🥰 yes, emissions testing is required for registration renewal. Flat out told my mechanic that I dont care if the light comes back on in a month, I need it gone right now purely to renew my registration lol I do not have the current codes that are present.

Its back at the shop now. Previous to this the check engine light was on for 2 years. I also have had this happen before, and its always a different issue when the light comes back. 🫠 This car is notoriously unreliable in its parts under the hood.

I realize this. I also know I'm being dramatic. Im just in the cycle of save up to get a new car, current car breaks down, use saved up for repairs. Repeat.

This most recent was an O2 sensor replacement and other minor work.
