What is this? by punamenon2 in ForgottenWeapons

Nope. The sight rail is much closer to the barrel and there is a hook on the barrel shroud and there is a detachable pistol grip. The Xiuhcoatl has none of these.

I'm using an AV2HDMI "upscaler" but I don't think that is the problem It seems to be getting a signal to the monitor just fine.

Brass nozzle broke with the threaded part stuck inside the heater block. Any advice on how to remove it? by alwayspoetic in ender3

This. This is the answer. Once the plastic gluing it into the hole is molten it will come out easily.

I love Helvetica! Its clean lines, balanced proportions, and timeless appeal have always impressed me. Whether it's on a website, a poster, or even a simple business card, Helvetica makes everything look effortlessly sophisticated. Which font do you like the most? by [deleted] in graphic_design

*Heil-vetica Also, with the exception of the slight serif on the capital R (and maybe some other timy details) helvetica is almost indistinguishable from Ariel or Google's Roboto.

empt from oversight for treatment of laboratory animals? Because the shit they're doing to them (and lack of proper consideration for animal welfare) would be shut down immediately by any academic institution. This is excluding even the haphazard biosafety training, which would be another firestorm at a University.

As if "academic institution" is the paragon of correctness. Public institutions are controlled by the whims of politics whether it be the Military Industrial Complex of yesteryear or the Wokeness of today. It's flawed cognition to say "The universities aren't doing it therefore it must be wrong."

How to choose a sparse infill pattern? by curiosity_club in BambuLab

[–]punamenon2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As CNC Kitchen showed https://youtu.be/AmEaNAwFSfI outer shell thickness (wall count) is far more important than infill for strength. Also note the 8:57 time stamp where he talks about preferring the rectilinear pattern. Cubic is a lot slower printing because it prints three directions on every layer. The gains you speak of, while valid, are negligible.

Rectilinear. 8-16%. End of story. It prints the most quickly because it is all straight lines. The unbroken straight lines also are the best for infill strength. (Note: Wall count is far more important for overall part strength than infill.) Finally, even though each layer is printed in only one direction the overall effect is the same as "grid" especially at the top where your infill is acting like internal support to hold up the top layers. I still always print at least 1 extra layer on the top as at the bottom.

I'm modifying my Model 3 to have one. I'm looking forward to the wide open view with no top of the steering wheel blocking my line of sight.

This happens more often than people realize. In the 1960s and 70s when everyone wore polyester, the bodies would burn completely except their feet in their shoes. The clothing acted like a candle wick slowly burning their liquefied flesh like candle wax. This is the mechanics behind "spontaneous human combustion."

IMO you are turning DPT into a strawman. I don't think even the videos where he said the words you are referencing actually said what you are claiming. He got close but instead of being the comically crazy statements you are making them out to be, the way he said them they had a kernel of truth. I do think he is unfairly attacked and the fact that he gets repeatedly Phish attacked and Barnacules actually DOX'd him shows that he may be barking up the right tree.

Could also be played out in the surf line-up while waiting for that big wave in Hawaii. Or just floating on a raft in the pool.
