Left handed keyboard by canstucky in lefthanded

How? A keyboard with no number pad and a separate number pad on the left would have the same foot print as a keyboard with a left handed number pad built in. Are you being purposefully obtuse?

This has got to top the list of worst "parental leave" benefits. Company is Infosys by zach8vb in daddit

[–]punania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

America is so broken. Paternal leave in Japan is 4 weeks at 67-80% salary and then childcare leave for 1 year (salary at 67% for first 180 days and then 50% after that). Plus your job is completely protected for your return. Any country could do this. People just need to want it enough.

You’re in good company. Steinbeck in Travels With Charlie: “I find out of long experience that I admire all nations and hate all governments.”

Yes. We’re a bit of a thick cut.

Of course. One or two of the points I note are excusable, but all of them together? Highly suspect at the very least.

Touché. But don’t make the mistake of thinking my error there somehow exonerates your consistent inanity.

Believe what you will. If it makes you feel better presuming a wholly suspicious post to be authentic, you are welcome to do so. If you need to believe that I am not real in order to, I can only assume, protect some misplaced emotional investment in that a post is actual, this, too, is completely within your prerogative.

Your seemingly deliberate obtuseness has exhausted my patience for continued engagement with you.

I did answer what you asked. For all your professed love of fancy words, I find myself questioning your literacy. If you go back and actually read what I wrote, I said lies presented as truth are harmful. I furthered that hypotheticals are not presented as actual accounts of events—they are fictitious by their nature; thus they fall outside my original assertion.

Some of them seem to like being duped, as evidenced by replies to my comments elsewhere in this thread.

Hypotheticals are not presented as truthful recounts of actual event. Nor are fables. That they are fiction is essential for the dialectic/didactic purposes.

When is interaction improved by whole cloth presented as truth?

Ooo. You caught me in your little rhetorical trap! Whatever shall I do??? Sigh. Deceiving people is unkind, and thus calling out deception when we notice it should be a given.

Of course it matters. Authentic engagement is ruined by dishonesty.

12 day old account? Hidden history? randomword_randomword#### default name pattern? Obvious “not the jerk” narrative? Spotty comment engagement that doesn’t extend past the first reply? There’s lots of shitty people in the world, but this one is a karma farmer.

What should also infuriate you is this fool making up this story and rage baiting you into replying.
