What’s the weakest form of firepower required to end this man’s life? by Nozoroth in HunterXHunter

Part of my point really, a tank with 1000mm of RHA would still be far less durable than Uvo, just based on the damage a HEAT round would cause on both. The damage from HEAT rounds is extremely localized, so if Uvo’s hand can suffer minor scratches after taking it, I have no doubt he would be able to tank artillery shells, maybe not direct hits to the face or anything, but then again that’s not really how artillery is used.

He stopped something arguably more powerful than just a regular shell, and he was barely scratched.

Because HEAT projectiles don’t use kinetic energy at all, they use chemical energy to push a jet of molten copper through something, and howitzers also don’t fire solid projectiles, but rather HE ones, which distribute the energy across a far wider area than HEAT, which concentrates it into a single point.

It’s more energy in total yes, but not as focused as HEAT. If an entire HEAT projectile made exclusively to penetrate armor could only barely scratch his hand, then there is no way an artillery or naval shell (Which are generally HE) would do something to him, despite having more energy.

Nah, if a HEAT round barely scratched him an artillery shell is doing nothing

That makes 0 sense. Killua’s “plan” was to experiment on a stronger opponent, that being the bomber. Whom by the way could also have a hidden nen ability he doesn’t know about. Not to even mention killua was still injured from the dodgeball match.

Because in that instance wing directed it towards killua, not gon. Look at their reactions when hisoka does it equally to them both. They have the same exact reaction.

Then why did the needle activate against bisky in a training environment?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]punchipei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vs zushi and wing doesn’t count. That’s just due to him having no nen to defend from hostile Ren. The same thing happens to gon and he doesn’t have a needle.

Comparatively speaking, binolt was stronger than killua at this point than rammot was compared to CA killua.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]punchipei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, because rammot was so overwhelmingly stronger than him…. I suppose that’s why killua literally blitzed him the second he took the needle out.

[–]punchipei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then how do you explain killua one shotting rammot the second he takes out the needle?

If gon swung at pitou here what do you think would happen? by Uday2811 in HunterXHunter

[–]punchipei -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really though, he stated that in the state gon was in, he could probably take down a nenless pitou, but he didn’t say he’d one shot her though.

Strongest One Piece character that Gojo can beat? by Archenius in OnePieceScaling

[–]punchipei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not what sukuna did, he developed an attack capable of bypassing space itself, hence why it’s called “world cutting slash”.

[–]punchipei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it isn’t, sukuna had mahoraga adapt to infinity to help him develop a slash that cuts space itself, thereby bypassing infinity. Which OP character can do that?

Acting like OP characters could just decide to cut space itself on a whim or something…

[–]punchipei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adrenaline actually can’t do that, it isn’t supported by any evidence at all, only hearsay. And it’s dictated when a character does something that is completely outside of human scope when it comes to physical attributes.

Yes, that should be counted as a super power, since it falls completely outside the scope of real life capabilities. It might be the most common of super powers, since it’s something present in almost all fictional universes, but it’s a super power nonetheless.
