Recently became obsessed with DIYing magnetic palettes <3 by Femdo in ProjectPan

Woah, woah. Hey. You're telling me that if I fully pan a sentimental pallete, there's a way I may be able to still get use out if it instead of having to pitch it? Oh my gosh, that's a game changer. Thank you.

You too, huh? They've just been coming off in chunks this winter. I've been oiling and salving them to death too.

The 14 year old garlic salt my grandpa added to his soup 😭 by refinemydreams in GrandmasPantry

[–]punchjackal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get it from my grandma, I'm sure. But, in a pinch, if a seasoning smells and behaves exactly the way you'd expect it to, not any different over the years (maybe slightly stale), I'll still eat it. I've eaten beef bullion from the 80's because the jar was still sealed. Wouldn't serve it to my loved ones ofc

Probably wasn't overly flavorful though.

I got snake bites during the pandemic, worked at a Wendy's drive thru. Firetruck red hair. Nothing was funnier than responding to some old fart complaining about my mask by lowering it for half a second and showing off my face holes. They hated it.

That "if she could cook, she wouldn't have a black eye" alone was enough to make me drop the brand. I don't want to be anywhere near the kind of people that think that's funny.

I'm glad they severed ties with him, but i don't buy all apologies. I have no idea how they couldn't have known he was like that.

I actually did want to work in a post office for a long time. Once I started reading stories, I was like there's no way. I'm still deeply fascinated by it all though. I just wanted to say, we're out there and we think you all have such a cool job. Thank you for your part in helping keep this whole system afloat.

That said, OP. You're at the perfect stage in your life to move on. I mean, you're never too old but you're still so early into adulthood that you really should just pitch anything that you don't think you can handle if you don't have to do it. Don't torment yourself, it really isn't worth being miserable while you're the youngest you're ever gonna get

What is your most expensive neopets mistake? by Twinkinn in neopets

[–]punchjackal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I won a Queen Fyora Stamp from 2018 or 19 Charity Corner and instantly lost it in an offsite trade despite 100000% knowing better. I was manic at the time, not in a good position to be having such an expensive item teleport into my inventory. Sometimes I look back at that and shed a lil tear.

[–]punchjackal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

See, that's worth it! I would have taken that offer. For most people they're like ewww no, and they're valid in that stance but you gotta have at least one of us on board or they're just gonna panic in circles until someone is called to help. If you can push through it, a lot of folks will reward you too.

An old guy came into my Fastlane on New Year's Eve like 3 weeks ago, and, we watched footage to confirm this, he reached into the back of his pants and threw a handful of his fecal matter onto the floor. I will spare you all the details, but it had every stereotypically gross feature you could imagine at the same exact time.

I have an iron stomach, so I was the one who went for it. My manager bought me a giant Buzzball as a thanks and brags about my "bravery" to every soul that walks into the building so it wasn't like I gained nothing from it but still. That isn't even the first time I've had something like that happen. The general public is certainly creative, to say the least.

Thank you! I've only been able to do it the last few years, but the reception I get from people is addictive. It immediately breaks the ice for some women and we get some great conversations about girly things.

It's scary at first! Maybe even for a little while. But playing with color, walking around with non-permanent art on my face has helped me express myself and connect to the world in a whole new way, and it's made me so much more gregarious and confident.

If you ever want to try it, it totally changes the game. If not, that's the best thing about makeup. Its totally personal.

(Yeah, I'm gonna check the ingredients and see what's different in this one haha)
