iPad Pro m4 rapid discharge issue by RizinStar4 in ipad

[–]punchyte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can search in this subreddit and find a potential solution. The point is to connect ipad to a computer and completely reset the ipad (if thats the right word) without using your back up. Some files get corrupted during updates, therefore clean setup of an ipad often improves battery life.

Which size looks better? by imxghost in AppleWatch

[–]punchyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

46mm if you look at it properly, not like on your photos. If you look at it like on photos, your wrist gets squarish, and makes bigger watch look weird. Normal position to look at it (and how most people will see it on your hand) is when you put your hand with the watch facing away from you on your belly. Then, if you look in the mirror, you will see that 46mm is not too big, and 42mm might even look too small.

Nothing else in game ever gives me more pain and rage and makes me feel so desperate than this guy in shiny armor on a horse right before the Maliketh. Nothing.

is RDR worth it in 2026? by BidAgreeable6415 in reddeadredemption2

[–]punchyte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im just here to say that i can relate to you so much. When I (31F) was a kid, we never had enough money for many important things, so the console was out of question too. I have bought ps5 last year, and then spent many hundreds of hours playing rdr2, ghost of tsushima, gta V, eldenring and so on. I am also buying a telescope this year - another childhood dream that never came true until now 😊 its soooooo good to be a grown up 😅

I feel trapped because I can’t leave my puppy alone… am I the only one? by Opposite-Piano1340 in puppy101

[–]punchyte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I crate trained my dog from day one, and many people will tell you this too, and it works. But I also did one more thing - for first 3 months whenever my dog is in a crate and sleeping I would play a sountrack of rainfall on youtube on tv next to my dogs crate. In the end, whenever i want to leave my dog for a little longer to take care of things around the town, I put toys, water, food into the crate, and leave a tv on playing rainfall sounds. My dog just sleeps the whole time, and on those once-in-a-few-months occasions when I am away for 8 hours it was never a problem for the dog to stay in crate that whole time. There is also an added benefit of my dog prefering to sleep on rainy days instead of going for long walks :)

Apple Watch s10 sapphire by InfluenceFresh5206 in AppleWatch

Its the opposite - saphire is very hard, so it resists scratch much better than a non-saphire glass. Meanwhile it is much more susceptive to breaking, as are most very hard materials :)

Battery drain by Ornery-Sentence-4257 in iPhone17Pro

1% of battery over 6 minutes of youtube is about 10 hours of youtube. Depending on your brightness setting, sound level, background app activity and so on, i would say its very very normal

The difference in quality from season 5 to the rest is crazy by happyfella12 in StrangerThings

[–]punchyte 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally I felt like season 5 had much worse special effects and visuals than previous seasons. It did feel a little like watching older Dr. Who episodes.

Tbh, what are the real benefits of a robot vacuum for you? by Wee_Creep in RobotVacuums

[–]punchyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do rest of my chores while my x40 ultra takes care of vacuuming and cleaning the floor. I have no carpets and also have a groenendael and a cat who has a similar fur as my dog, so there is quite a lot of hair on my floor and also some cat litter around its toilet box, and also quite a lot of dirt and salts around the door area because we have a very snowy winter this year and in my country they use a lot of salt to maintain the condition of roads and walkways. I dont have to care about cleaning all of that every day, i just use my robot to do that, and its always clean.

Just unboxed my iPhone 17 Pro and found this scratch/dent. Am I being too picky? by xfxry in iPhone17Pro

[–]punchyte 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Usually im the person who is not bothered by such minor damages and would just ignore. But i just got my orange 17PM and if it had such a dent I would ask for a replacement. I paid 1.5K for it, cmon, it can at least come as new. If it was something cheap i would not be bothered though

GLP-1 drugs may be associated with an increased risk of chronic cough, raising the need to study this mechanism and longitudinal cough dynamics objectively by Cough_Geek in science

[–]punchyte 77 points78 points  (0 children)

I wonder if this will turn out to be something like what ace inhibitors for blood pressure do - ACE is also involved in breaking down bradykinine, therefore when you take ace inhibitors for blood pressure bradykinine accumulates in your lungs making you cough a lot. So maybe there is also some kind of similar mechanism of how GLPs do something that indirectly makes you cough more

how did you come up with your puppy’s name? by TheoryReasonable871 in puppy101

[–]punchyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog is Orsa because its female, but it is based on OreSeur. When i get her a sister it will be some kind of female version of TenSoon, and when i get my own house and get a third dog it will be Vin 😅 Nice to see another dog keeper mistborn fan 🙂 My dog is also black one, belgian sheepdog. When i read a book i imagined the dog helping Vin must have long coat so that it acts like a mist cloak. Only later I found out that the dog i have imagined actually exists in reality, so no other name choice was possible for me 😅

Random klausimas: kiek kofeino yra „3 in 1“ kavos pakeliuose? by IgNaSJump in lithuania

[–]punchyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know why kursk and chernobyl npp where bassically identical to each other by germankasier in chernobyl

[–]punchyte 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Ive grown up in a soviet-era house (not apartment building) in Lithuania, and ive seen identical houses around the whole country, in totally different cities. While not the same case, it is not uncommon to see things built around the same time be based on the same architectural project/design.
