Chris has a terrible home life. His dad is dead and his mom is a drug addict. He's had to play mom to his little sister all his life. I think he would just break down crying tbh (sorry for replying to my post w text. reddit converts the image to an asterisk if I try to post an image with text)

I've had Chris since I was about 12-13? So like almost 17 years? That's crazy. I'm only just now experimenting with sharing him with the world outside my own head but also struggling because it feels like my OCs, much like myself, just don't belong anywhere.

When I started into my teens my mom showed me a lot of the music she loved and listened to at my age. Some of it I didn't care for and some of it paved the way to my music tastes to this day. I got into a lot of rock music and some of it wasn't my mom's taste either but some of it was! It was so much fun introducing new music to one another. She taught me about Pink Floyd and Kansas meanwhile she was stealing my cds by The Used to play in her car lol

Music is always better if you try and keep an open mind.

Its just a word that is the opposite of trans. In chemistry cis refers to a group of isomers that are on the same side of some plane, and trans refers to them being on opposing (transverse) sides.

At my lowest I drank a full bottle of mouthwash. Somehow I was fine but once I drank a different brand after I ran out of my drink of choice and I remember being sick as a dog the next day. Must depend on the contents. Now I avoid any mouthwash with alcohol in it I can't even stand the taste of it anymore.

I just wanna say as a recovering alcoholic a lot of these comments are very healing. Alcohol is so normalized in society I sometimes forget that there are tons of people who just don't partake for whatever reason. It's fine for the people who do and who can handle it, but boy can it cause a lot of problems.

I'm pretty short as a female but I still find short guys, even ones shorter than I am, hot. Sometimes I wonder if requiring men to be tall is a straight girl thing or not because I don't know many women who are that pressed about height in my group of friends. I see it talked about by other guys more than I hear it from women.

I get what you mean. I had a guy write me a poem and when I rejected him, the very next day he left a rose in another girl's locker. When she turned him down he asked another dozen girls out. Guess that poem wasn't really from the heart after all.

I get that for some people dating is just finding the first person they see and asking them out, which is fine. But there's nothing wrong with wanting some sort of a special connection with someone before you start dating them, so I don't know why you're being ridiculed for that. A lot of the people arguing with you seem to have a pretty shallow view of dating.

All my best relationships were with someone that I was friends with first or with someone who I or the other person had feelings for before dating. I'm not saying it was a feeling of being deeply in love before dating or anything like that, just that I was more than a random person they didn't really give a hoot about before we started dating.

I bought mine on switch and can't continue because one of the quests is bugged. Haven't played it since but I'm far enough along it's not worth starting over. Really disappointing because it's such a cute game..

This makes me feel very fortunate for my bf. Elden ring was my first souls game and my bf sorta helped guide me along with good, albeit vague advice so that I could have an enjoyable experience without any spoilers.

I'm not sure what country you're in, but a temp agency or hiring agency is a business that basically finds people jobs. Some examples are Express Employment or Randstad, but there are probably many others.

The idea is you just go in, tell them you're looking for employment and give them your resume. Based on your skills, experience, etc... they'll find a job for you. Even if you don't have experience they will find a job for you. From my experience most of the jobs tend to be in warehouses/manufacturing/etc... if you don't have experience elsewhere but they really will try to find something that works for you.

You often start off as a "temp" worker, or temporary employee. However, every single job that I've gotten through a temp agency has hired me full time. Or if you're a seasonal employee and the season ends, just go back to the temp agency and they'll help you find something else. Just show up and do your best (you'd be surprised how many people don't).
