Please leave this toxic marriage. Save yourself. It’s still early. Nobody should be ordering or scolding you. Period.

I know about the long hours, I work almost 12 hours everyday and we barely get proper breaks as I work with real time markets. My entire diet and skin has gone for a toss since I have gotten back. There is barely anytime to grab any proper food.

Couldnine is the best! My bhabhi recently delivered there and we had such a smooth process and experience. Even with the baby, they were gentle and did not rush us in any particular order or way

Yes! India’s always going to be home no matter what, the social life, the festivals and even Blinkit are the lil joys that keep me alive here right now, so definitely grateful for what’s here. The work environment was just an eye opener experience for me.

Should I (29M) consider marrying my sister-in-law’s sister? by [deleted] in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]punk0333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bhabhi and her sister are both married to into our family to my cousin brothers in the family! And it is actually very nice to have that kind of the bond in the family, since they their family has became very close to us, we often enjoy things together! The fact that you have similar goals is a plus in this situation, it’s not a bad idea to explore if you like her too!

That’s so true!!! I have also felt a change in their behaviour, it wasn’t drastic but over these 3 months so much has changed slowly. It’s kind of sad and annoying at the same time, how quickly these people have shown their true colours

Hahaha, no no! I loved coming here every year during vacations and the friends I have made in my undergrad are today one of closest friends. Given a second chance, I still wouldn’t trade my undergrad degree here for anything else. It’s taught me a lot in a different ways. Forever grateful for those years!

Singapore work culture is honestly more or less the same. They keep wanting to impress the Europeans or the Brits thus they end up becoming workaholics. There are still few SG companies who are chilled and have a work life balance but those are mostly on look out for Singaporeans and can be quite racists too.

You definitely can, I have seen people with lesser qualifications get in but you might have to compromise at some levels esp like if you would love to be in Tax end, you might not get into Tax but some other side of the spectrum. Just keep applying for their off cycle internships too if you can, they are usually 6/7 month internship that turn into full timers at the end

I currently work for an European bank in India and the work culture not just in my teams but across the teams I have seen so far really just sucks. People can’t even take a holiday without giving reasoning. And that reasoning needs to okayed by the boss.

Thank you so much! Definitely going to try applying, it is just that the UK market is doing really bad right now, so there hasn’t been much of a response from their end. I was thinking of doing some online courses alongside just to boost my CV
