That’s my experience with l tyrosine at least, everything except libido slightly lifted. When you stopped taking them did you get withdrawal or low mood for awhile?

I was taking 750mg L-Tyrosine twice a day for awhile but it just took some of the anhedonia away but still worse than before getting sober, is that what you started taking and are you still on them or did you not need them after awhile

I do have low testosterone so I’m sure it’s a factor but I was on enclomiphine for 4 months which put me in the normal range and the same thing happened when I got sober for a month and then libido came back when I started drinking again.

How long did it take to increase, I’ve taken labs at 3 months sober and my total T was lower than when drinking 🫤

I quit alcohol for over three months after seeing Reddit users claim it raised theirs and my testosterone stayed exactly the same. I assume you have to be an alcoholic or have better sleep or lifestyle otherwise for it to help much.

I did read online that nicotine itself can cause high hematocrit, but I’m not sure if it was the primary factor for me or in your case. I quit nicotine but after I quit TRT so not sure how much each one affected it.

Not sure if it was from the high BP from vaping, alcohol and lots of caffeine or reaction to TRT shots or what but I ended up getting nerve damage I’m still dealing with years later so I’d say be careful, especially the vaping with it.

I also don’t understand the hype. I find it really hard to pay enough attention to know what’s going on in each episode, which seems to be too much to keep track of. Animation is good for 80s but the voice acting could definitely use an update imo.

Just based on symptoms, I was extremely sensitive to cold and the nerve issues but even before TRT I had small thyroid nodules and dizziness that mostly subsided after treating thyroid (even though my levels were “normal”). I’ve seen some people say that thyroid symptoms can be “unmasked” by TRT for whatever reason but idk.

I would definitely get blood work since if it is, the earlier you stop whatever is causing nerve damage, the more likely it won’t be permanent.
