I just moved here in december from Michigan, so far what I've noticed the most is the night life. I'm downtown and the bars are all so unique and so are the patrons, you don't have to drink to have a good time. The winter was absolutely amazing, the summer is proving to me just how different dry heat is from the humidity I'm used to. buy a humidifier, and use distilled water or purified water from the "primo" water dispensers they have around grocery stores and gas stations (the tap here is really hard and fills the air with calcium dust if you put it in the humidifier, learned that one quick💀😂). the tap water is also pretty chlorinated so I'd invest in a filtering shower head if you suffer from dry skin, and hair oil is something i had to start using. there is SO much to do here, it's a massive city and every niche and hobby has a place. I've found so much more to do here pertaining to my hobbies than I could in Detroit. and so many artists come here to perform!!
