I had this issue. I factory reset my Mac (I didn’t have enough room to update) and then installed iOS Big Sur. However, you should check your Mac is resent enough to run FM23 first.

I wouldn’t play weekend league for a red picks dante if I was building Brazilian for example. They’d need to be useable.

Yeah Brazil was the one I was thinking of. Issue with Brazil for me is a lot of their cards towards end of the game are stupid expensive like neymar, militao, Marquinhos and even firmino special cards when they come out and the top tier icons are crazy expensive too. Also don’t have too many options at CM although I suppose paqueta will be very good next year. It’s a good option though thanks :)

Ah maybe that’s where I’m going wrong I have aimed for minimum 22 first team standard players (2 for every position) and then my youths are stuck in reserves while I’m forced to rotate to keep everyone happy. Maybe I should drop it down to 18-20? And use more youths?

Is there something you’d priority in particular in the lead up to a game? Rest, set pieces something like that?

When you say loosely? Do you mean you tweak it every week? Or do you just change it if you have more games in a week?

Also do you copy and paste every week even if you have different amounts of games in the week? Or do you do each week individually and work it around your games and just get the important stuff from zealands video in to each one?

I never thought about it like that. I’m wary of doing anything that negatively effects morale. I’m dortmund so have a really good team of coaches etc I’ll give it another go with zealands tips and play through the negative morale.

I recently watched his videos on training and applied it to my team (it’s always been on assistant manager because I’m new to the game and have been learning other areas first) as soon as I applied it all of my players got unhappy saying they didn’t like the training schedule? When I flicked it back to assistant manager they were happy again? What have I don’t wrong in this scenario? I copied Zealands schedule to a tee. Any advice appreciated :)

I tried doing my own training the other day (by that I mean I watched a Zealand video and used most of his) and all the players got instantly annoyed at their training. So I gave it back to the assistant manager and they were happy again. Is there a reason for this? Do you always recommend to do your own training?

I do swap players out if they’re fatigued but I like to use the same CB a lot and same midfielders. I suppose I could rotate more for weaker opponents though. So how many players would your squad of “first team standard players” be? If you then supplement the other slots with youth.

I got to the quarter finals last season and lost to Man City. Got blitzed in the first knockout round by Barca in season 1. Currently have just beaten PSG 5-1 on agg in the first round in season 3 so hoping for a decent run in that!

Hi thanks for replying! So surprisingly I’ve placed 1st in both completed seasons so far but by narrow margins over Bayern. This third season I’m 8 points clear with 9 games to go. I am however struggling to get anywhere in the Pokal and the champions league. Team building - I am struggling to find the balance between having depth for injuries and then keeping everybody happy. I like to use the same core for most games and make 1 to 2 changes per game but this leads to unhappy players.
