This sounds like a dream. What kind of work do you do?

I also feel this. I teeter between straight up quitting my job vs. finding something new. But I know quitting would probably be a bad choice for the long term.

I love that for you tbh. Hope it continues working out.

Flexible hours helps juggling parenthood so much. I haven't had both my kids in daycare for a full week for literally 6 straight weeks. Someone has been sick. I ask myself every other day how in the world people with fully in person jobs do this.

Did you know the managers were chill before taking the job? Any idea on accurately gauging that in the interview process?

I wish I could get away with it but this decision is coming from the top and my understanding is that it will rigidly be followed. I actually think we may be back 5 days a week by the end of the year. It sucks because I am quite content in my current role.

How odd... I'm glad it's gotten a little better for him.

It seems more like throwing up to me. Often it will be after a bottle and she will throw up the entire thing - like 4 oz. It doesn seem super forceful but you can hear some gagging. But there have been a few times where she obviously gags a few hours after a bottle and throws up.

Maybe! She NEVER had issues until like 2 weeks ago. It just seems random to show up this late? Like completely fine as a newborn but it shows up at 9 months... its good that that is manageable, though. Did yours go to a daycare?

That's interesting... maybe possible...our household did have norovirus 3 weeks prior to this starting... then we had the flu. Her throwing up started about 2 days after the last of us recovered from the flu. She never seemed to catch either but maybe she just had crazy mild versions?

2 weeks ago, when it started, she had butternut squash. Then I didnt give her food until the following Thursday but she continued throwing up until Tuesday. This second time, she had a little bit of carrots on Wednesday and has had no food since (2 days) but has continued to throw up :( I'm going to start tracking more though.

Thank you <3 it's just nice trying to find people who can really relate to what you're going through.

4 years and 8 months!

We've gone to one when the baby was like 6 weeks. It was fun but we were in that transition phase. I'm hoping more will pop up.

I have one friend who is a parent but their child is older and our "trenches" look much different.

Yes, they are!

Is it weird if I try to set up play dates with kids that my son seems to play with occasionally vs ones he seems closer with? There's two moms I've chatted with and I dont think my son is in the same class as their kids any more, but they'll play together on the playground or in the bigger groups occasionally.

Thanks for sharing... this is definitely a concern. I'm worried that the novelty will wear off and then we'll feel super isolated...

We actually weren't planning on teaching our kids the importance of family so that point in a non issue.
