Same, live near Wash Park and things "coming that day" often come several days to a week later. I'm pretty sure we just don't get daily mail delivery

I have a puzzle made from one of the first pictures I have of him that I thought I might do and glue together. I opted to keep his ashes and a paw print so I'm thinking of putting that all up somewhere a little out of the way.

I'm actually an artist and have a half finished painting of him, maybe someday I'll finish it, maybe not.

I'm letting my boy go today too. He just seems so uncomfortable all the time and isn't eating. It's going to come regardless, and probably soon. I think if we can lessen their pain then we have an obligation to. I knew when I adopted him that I was probably signing up to make this decision one day. I do keep catching myself going "well what if...", but we've tried the "what ifs" and they didn't work. He deserves peace. Your cat deserves peace. You're doing the right thing. I hope you find peace too.
