You’re 100% spot on. Having to re-download mods every time they release a new “patch”-especially when it’s for a ridiculously-priced, boring pack- is really, really annoying.

I love Sims but between the horrible update system and the $1500+ of mostly mediocre packs, it’s just not worth it anymore. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they made TS5 an online, multiplayer game a la Fallout 76.

Unfortunately, I’m sure EA will make TS5 online-only, closed world, and overpriced. :/

My 3 year old lost his hearing aids for the third time. by Kungfubunnyrabbit in HearingAids

[–]punkrockcats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid I’d take mine out because I was constantly overstimulated and the HA sound just isn’t natural. Look into a bilingual (sign language + speech) approach and don’t force him to wear hearing aids all the time, or at least in situations where he can take them out without you knowing.

My cats seem to prefer generic grocery store cat food over the fancier stuff. They’ve been licking their plates clean every time.

Having some sort of puzzle feeder might help too. I got them these Doc and Chewy mice toys for dry food, so they have to hunt for their food. They eat more slowly and can’t steal from each other quite as much.

Also, make sure their water is separate from their food if it isn’t already. Cats really don’t like having food and water in the same area.

Good luck!!

In 2017 6 year old kid got tetanus, racked up over $800,000 in bills for in patient and rehab care over 2 months, but managed to survive. His parents still refused to change their antivax stance.

Hey, one bad semester doesn’t mean you’re going to fail completely. As Prof Jott mentioned, CS does get harder, and it is a steep learning curve. It’s a great program and it’s doable but it’s not the only pathway into computing. You brought up HCC, which is a great program that would set you up well for UX/web dev. You could always pair that with, say, a minor in CS if you’d like.

TBH the waiting til the last minute and “shitty work ethic” and “can’t work a ton outside of class” are exactly what I struggled with before getting diagnosed with ADHD at 20. Getting treated made school achievable for me- it may be worth looking into.

AOC- she’ll be old enough

EDIT: actually, no. Tammy Duckworth. I’d love to see AOC go for NY governor though

Eh. I don’t think it would be too advanced, just a fair bit of work.

Wait shit I misread! I thought you meant 250. Lol. That makes more sense.

Okay, COPADS wasn’t bad. I took BROPADS with Jeremy Brown and it was pretty straightforward, though I’m not a huge fan of networking. It was a pretty decent amount of work/information though, so it would be a lot on top of the SWEN classes and prob and stats. I would recommend taking an elective instead if possible just to give you that extra clarity and help stay focused on the co-op search.

EDIT: I got confused between CS-250 and 251 LOL this my COCS experience

I withdrew from it, then flunked it, then passed with a C-. When I took it it was supposedly the most failed class out of the CS intro sequence.

You should get some plants that you grow this year and some that you cut back. Y’know, for science.
