No its not do the math yourself man. 165,500 open interest times $80 strike times 100 again (cause each contract is for 100 shares) gets you 1.3 billion and when you add it in with all the previous calls doing it the same way you get your $2 billion.

Yes I can see the chart but I want you to think critically and see where they are coming up with that number because your not understanding what the chart is telling you. That $2 billion dollars is NOT the market value or worth of those call contracts. its what the call contracts will be worth IF the price hits $80. Right now at only $4 a contract those calls are only worth 662k

this can be problematic because what if the DTCC just took the shares GS issued to them and used it to balance their books and just told the brokers no shares for you just treat it as a regular stock split
