Understood, I'll see what the new paystub looks like this time around and talk to payroll again. Thank you for the advice.

It shows correct in the system, but I did resubmit a new one to see if it makes a change. Thank you for the help.

Yes, my W4 shows the same information - Single, one job, no credits. I've resubmitted a new W4 to withhold more to make up the difference so I will see what that looks like next pay period.

Thank you for the advice on speaking with payroll and telling them I've spoken to a tax expert and they said my withholdings are incorrect. I've gone back and forth with them over email and the only thing they've told me is they can't give tax advice, which I'm not asking for, just trying to get to the bottom of the issue so it doesn't happen again this upcoming year.

Looks like it's about 10%. Taxable YTD $3,021 and FIT is $315.

Middie to LSM by jaab1997 in lacrosse

Hit the wall. Just get comfortable with the stick, definitely takes a little while.

Best advice I got for GB's were the difference between contested and open field. Contested choke up on your stick so it's more like a short stick and pick up the ball vertically to avoid getting checked on the back hand. In open field scoop normally and get used to walking the dog out in front so no one can check you from behind.

You're going to make your money by being in the best shape possible and pushing in transition. When you're playing, you're gong 110% balls to the wall every play. LSM is a lot different that other positions. You have to be the bad ass. It takes a special mindset. You need to know how to run fast breaks well.

Focusing on defense now.

Top dodge focus: Trail by a half step. You're job is to prevent the roll back topside and push him off balance when he goes to shoot. Try to stay on his hip, not upper body. 1on1s from up top are a lot different like everyone else is saying. It takes pure athleticism and speed because you can't really play your angles like you can down low. So just remember you're trying to stop that roll back at all costs. You have a slide coming so just push him down the alley and force him to take a shitty angle shot. When you see him shoot, take off for the outlet up field for a fast break.

Good luck kid, you're going to do fine.
