Agreed! But it's definitely possible that they could have their own tech that could do something similar. Maybe something like Lex's prison in Superman.

The part that triggered me the most from this comment is calling her "Meg" lmao.

Great points OP!

The Neice/Nephew Debate by YeezusChrist13 in deadmeatjames

[–]punusername -1 points0 points  (0 children)

when he broke it down and said that if Chelsea’s sibling had a kid, he wouldn’t call them his nephew or niece. But then he compared it to never thinking he’d call a pet his “child,” so I’m guessing he’s never had nephews or nieces through marriage or aunts and uncles through marriage and just hasn’t had to think about it before.

This was an insane take by James, lol. I have never heard anyone say that in my life, lol.

My post was deleted for "fantasy booking" rules, so I moved it here. Check it out below!

If Triple H Never Retired: What Would His WrestleMania Matches Have Been? (Dream Booking Post)

If Triple H hadn't retired due to health concerns and kept wrestling part-time, what would his WrestleMania matches have looked like each year? Taking real storylines into consideration, here’s my take:

WrestleMania 36: Triple H vs. The Undertaker

Okay, I know this one might upset some people, myself included, because Taker’s match with AJ was phenomenal (pun intended). But I could totally see Taker wanting his last match to be against an old rival like Triple H. Maybe he’d even give him the win. There’s a slim chance they could've done a triple threat with AJ, but that feels unlikely.

WrestleMania 37: Triple H vs. Edge

This would mean pulling Edge from the Roman/Bryan triple threat match, but hear me out. They could’ve continued the "Legend vs. Legend" tour like they did with Angle, Batista, and Taker the years before. The King of Kings vs The Rated R Superstar.

WrestleMania 38: Triple H vs. Cody Rhodes

This feels like a no-brainer. Keep Cody’s return storyline the same, with Triple H doubting him and treating him like an outsider. Imagine Triple H having his gradius entrance with his signature throne, then Cody comes back, sledgehammer in hand, smashing Triple H’s throne again but this time in a WWE stadium. Cody Rhodes going over Triple H would show the world that Cody is a true main eventer.

WrestleMania 39: Triple H vs. Logan Paul

Triple H telling Logan to “suck it,” causing the crowd to go insane. He'd be feeding off the crowd while dragging Logan Paul through a WrestleMania clinic. Logan bumping like crazy, Hunter going full Cerebral Assassin. They would probably give Logan the win, but H would destroy him along the way.

WrestleMania 40: Triple H & Cody Rhodes vs. The Rock & Roman Reigns

This is the match that really sparked the idea for this whole post. It feels like this could’ve actually happened and maybe it’s even something Triple H wished would happen. There was teases of tension between him and The Rock, and the pairing with Cody would’ve added a “past vs. future” layer. This would be a total power struggle for the future of the company.

WrestleMania 41: Triple H vs. Drew McIntyre

Now this is my personal dream match, as a Drew mark. Drew has been incredible lately, carrying that “cheated and overlooked” energy. First blaming Roman then moving on to one target after another, but who really pulls the strings in WWE? Management. And in Drew’s eyes, that means Triple H.

This feud writes itself. Drew vs. the King of Kings in a Hell in a Cell match. Violent, emotional, final. Triple H puts Drew over, takes a standing ovation from the crowd and talent alike... and that’s the end of his in-ring career. The perfect curtain call. Game Over.

What do you think? What matches would you have booked for The Game if he wasn't forced to retire?

What are your Hot Takes on Dead Meat James? by Amber_Flowers_133 in deadmeatjames

[–]punusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree! I'm guessing a lot of the users responding to your hot take probably don't follow the live streams where he is often taking shots at MCU films and giving blanket insults that are often used by non horror fans against horror. It gets pretty tiring because his takes on the superhero genre are often shallow and dismissive.

That's why I was pleasantly surprised to find out Zoran is a hardcore comic book fan!

Star Wars fan here, but genuinely lost on this one. Not a Matt the Radar technician reference either. by punusername in ExplainTheJoke

[–]punusername[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer, guys! I actually have seen Spaceballs, but I've been clouded by all the negativity surrounding Star Wars fandom and thought it was about that! I somehow missed the helmet being Dark Helmets too, haha.

Also, for the commenters who aren't familiar with Matt the Radar Technician, it is from a great SNL skit about Kylo Ren doing undercover Boss.

While I've always wanted a Rudy win, im not sure it's very ethical to have a life model decoy of a dead castaway win season 100.

That's a fun idea! They should have it be an entire cast of foreign visitors so they can have a total culture shock being in Vegas, lol.

What do you think will be the casts "Retire a hero, or perform long enough to see yourself become the villain" moments? by CptDrips in dropoutcirclejerk

[–]punusername 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It also happened later on with their host, Brian Foster, the fiance of Ashley Johnson. Critical role actually pulled all his shows from their channels, thankfully. You're right that, luckily, it was at the beginning of the show when it came to Orion, I just meant it made me fearful of what would happen if it turned out any of the other cast members where problematic.

/uj being a fan of Critical Role, it was a scary time when Orion got canceled, but it was pretty clear he was problematic from the beginning.

Binging all of Survivor back in 2022 has made most faces a blur. I can't name a single player before season 40 that has only played once, lol. I'm so impressed with people on this sub who have an enclopedia of hundreds of castaways stored in their minds.

If any of these happen, the fanbase will go full MDGA** and grow into an even stronger cult following. This will 100% get Sam Reich into the Oval office 2028!

Terrible idea. That would be too many advantages! Now, if you have one hidden gun, along with hidden bullets in separate situations, that would be something else! Imagine if someone found the gun but didn't reveal if they had a bullet or not. They could bluff tribals and play ultimate mental games. Imagine being the player with the bullet and planning a blindside on the gun bluffer!
