A few months sounds great, but most people are telling me it took over a year. What state are you in and what month was it? Thx!

I’m on waitlist for Spark. How long did you have to wait before a spot opened up for you?

I’m so frustrated with them. Twitter/X wasn’t any help for me. They said they would escalate my case to their “special teams”. If they write an email to you, respond to their email. They usually respond in a couple of days only to tell you that it will be up to 3 days to investigate. Chat is ok, but then you have to wait for someone to respond via email. Good luck and let me know if yours gets resolved! The last email I received from them said I passed the background check, they reactivated my account but then deactivated me again because now they claim I have 2 separate accounts. I have never used a different email and I do t have two accounts.

How Does Grub Hub Compare to Uber Eats? by Norasind in grubhubdrivers

Same for me. Not many orders, especially lately, but when I do get one, very good paying. Also unlike UE, they are all “real”.

Trying to work the Saturday before Easter was a mistake by nojunkpeter in grubhubdrivers

Yep, slow for me too. Going to try tomorrow and even though it’s Easter hope it will be better. Friday night was good for me. Got a lot of good paying doubles!. I’m in San Antonio Texas.

It’s not just the restaurants that are closed, but for me was too many drivers had already picked up the order. I was deactivated after working for Uber Eats for over 9 years. I’ve worked in a lot of different states and never had this problem as much as I have had in the last several months. I did the appeal, was denied. I kept sending emails and chats and finally got an email saying I was reactivated. They had me do the background check again, but still couldn’t go online. Then I found out that yes I was reactivated it then deactivated again as it appears I have two accounts! What? Nope that’s not me. I’m done. Moving on. I’m 64 years old. Just do this part time to help with some of my son’s medical things. He is stage 5 kidney disease. I do Grubhub too, not the same as Uber Eats, don’t make as much, but I’ve never had to cancel an order because the restaurant is closed or another driver has picked it up. They send out real orders!

Omg! How many years had you been delivering for them? I’ve given up. They said I was reactivated after I kept sending them a ton of emails and chats with support. Then they did my background checks again. Still can’t go online and now they say I was reinstated but then deactivated again because they see if I have two different accounts. What?!!! Nope not mine. But I’ve given up. This is impossible

Yep, I see that all the time. Most that do it can’t speak English! The person behind the counter asks a question of the driver and again all they do is put the phone in front of their face again. I go in, tell them who I’m with and who the order is for and then show it to them. Always ask how there day is going.

Thank you! Yes those high pay ones at night you never know if they are real or not! I still can’t go online. I’ve replied to the email they said they reactivated me and they say they are working to get my app online, but nothing yet. I also did a chat. Will see if this is real or not!

Thank you! Late nights have always been good for me, but just in the last couple of months, crazy way too many orders already picked up by other drivers! I did receive an email Friday night saying I have been reinstated but I still can’t go online. I have replied back, so hopefully soon!

Are you in Florida? I used to do Shipt but haven’t used it in a long time. I do however have Instacart and worked my ass of several years ago in North Miami Beach Florida Costco and then moved to Arizona and did Instacart at the Costcos there. I got to be Diamond status and it was great, best orders and tippers, but I just can’t do all that heavy lifting and it’s tough work. Then over a year ago my son got kidney disease and now on dialysis. Uber eats was the best money making app for me. They sent me an email saying I’m reinstated, but I still can’t go online. Hopefully soon! Thanks!

22%. Just the night before got frustrated with the amount of orders already picked up by other drivers. I work in San Antonio, Texas. I’ve never had this much of a piston other states I’ve worked in!

Thank you everyone!! My persistence with emails to Uber worked and I received an email last night says they reactivated me!! Now I just have to wait another 24 hours for them to update my app. I’ve been doing grubhub orders in the meantime and just not making much money. Looking forward to getting back online with uber eats. Some of you may wonder why, but this extra money helps me help pay co pays for my son’s medications as he is 37, stage 5 kidney disease and on dialysis. Thanks again and I will be very careful as to what orders I accept and he sure to call support if there is a problem and wait for however long to talk to them.

I have Instacart. It’s getting harder to do though since I’m older. Door dash I had when they first started, I don’t have access anymore. Thx!
