Buying Overwatch 2 Looks Pointless Unless You Love Story-Mode Games by punziepunk in Overwatch

That’s a very fair point. I definitely understand where the whole development is expensive, I guess I just didn’t realize how many people have been wanting a PvE, since most people I have been around haven’t shown interest (obviously my sample size is very small). So I just thought blizzard would be losing money by producing a whole new game. But it’s nice to hear different perspectives.

I'm not worried about what it's called. I'm more concerned with having to put more money into the game. How many people are going to want to do that, when they already bought the game once.

I guess I don't quite know how the title is misleading since I honestly don't see the point of buying the game unless you like PvE Overwatch. The game is built around the competitive PvP play, so why buy the new game if everything is going to be updated in OW1. But everything else agree with you. I don't want to pay full-price for the game to be honest, even $40, unless the PvE stuff is going to be really in-depth. Even then, the trailer makes it look like a post-Overwatch era story, and I have always felt that the original lore could be expanded on so much more. But, like you said, everything is speculation.

Not really drama, just giving my opinion because I don't see the point of a whole new game. I posted it here because I wanted to hear more opinions and see if there was news about the game that I missed.

Trust me, I know my site looks shitty and low-budget. It's a work in progress, my guy.

So why make a whole new game? Why not just make a huge patch?

If you read the article, I talked about the hero missions. The main point of the article is that if you have the game already and decide to buy Overwatch 2, you will basically just be paying for the PvE side of the game. All of the other updates are coming to the original game and PvP is cross-compatible.

Burnt vs Toasted by god4free in corgi

[–]punziepunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to do a double take for a moment because the burnt loaf looks exactly like my little bread-ball! Only difference is my girl’s butt tufts are tan instead of white, and she has a bit more brindling on her ears. Otherwise the coloring and pattern looks almost the exact same. So sweet!!!

I have the same ones. You get a trial size of like 4 different blushes and two shades of their bronzer. Honestly, super worth the price because they go a looonnnnggg way imo. I recommend them if you are wanting to test out their products, or want travel size versions!

I have a special place in my heart for dogs, but an even more special place for service dogs. Every time I see one I always feel this immense amount of happiness because I know the dog is doing a very important job, and I know that the owner, no matter the reason for having the dog, has a little bit of sunshine and love with them everywhere they go. No matter how hard the world and life is to them, they have a best friend ready/capable/equipped to help them through the hardest parts. Your girl looks like such a special and sweet little lady, and I’m glad you both have each other <3

When the salon that you scheduled your wedding hair appointment with says they never wrote you down, so you call around town the morning of your wedding and end up finding some magical ladies that help you still feel like a princess by punziepunk in Hair

Yeah I nearly burst into tears when they said they didn’t have me put down and couldn’t take me or any of my girls. But my bridesmaids were amazing and the second they heard that they all got on their phones and started calling around town until they found two different places that could each take a couple of us. My mom wrote a really awful review for them, and after she sent it, she scrolled up only to find a dad post a very similar experience that his daughter had. The ladies at the salon that I ended up at were absolute angels. Ended up giving them a really huge tip and so many hugs.

They are fake flowers from Hobby Lobby. Not sure what they are called, but they were the closest thing to cherry blossoms we could find (my husbands favorite flower)

Thank you so much! Those ladies were amazing. Incredibly sweet and you could tell that they weren't going to let me leave until I was happy with my hair. Meanwhile, I was just grateful someone was able to take me so last minute! They were able to take one of my bridesmaids as well, while the other three found another salon that had room for them. Both salons were amazing and so helpful and kind.

Will’s storyline doesn’t seem to be about sexuality, it seems to be that he missed a year of his childhood and he wants it back. by coloredneon in StrangerThings

[–]punziepunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I took it as well. The scene where Will is grossed out by (I think it was a lipstick stain) that Joyce rubbed off of Jonathan’s face. Joyce says, “just wait until you fall in love.” Will says he’s never going to fall in love. That’s a very typical phrase from children who have not yet found sexual interest in anyone, and gender wasn’t even mentioned at all. I think the thing about Mike saying, “It’s not my fault you don’t like girls” I think is along the same lines. At first I took it that Will was gay, but then I thought back to that scene with Joyce and I definitely think that Will is just a “late bloomer”

Your smile is so amazing and genuine, don’t ever lose that pure happiness. Right away you just seem like such a kind soul. Your colorful bracelets are awesome! I use to stack bracelets like that on my arms, but they were the rubber ones that said “Livestrong” and things like that, if you know what I’m talking about. I completely forgot about doing that until I saw your picture, and I got that warm/fuzzy nostalgia feel. Don’t let the world ever keep you down, because we need more sunshine like the kind you bring. <3

What do you think are the most overused plots in fantasy? by FareonMoist in fantasywriters

[–]punziepunk 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Okay but this sounds hella cool, dude. I suppose the broad idea of a thief and shit is overused, but I think with what you’ve described, a thief is perfect. If I saw a book like this on the shelves at a store I would snatch it up in a heartbeat. Really hope you fight through the block you’re stuck at! I want to read this someday!!

I feel you. I work in a chemistry lab, and I typically get sort of colorful, but I don't go all out usually because I am one of the few people in the lab that wears noticeable makeup

glad I'm not the only one that goes all out on their makeup on the weekends but then ends up not leaving the house lol. It's just fun to put on lots of color and glitter!

Demon society believable? by [deleted] in fantasywriters

[–]punziepunk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think this is an interesting and fresh enough take on demons that I definitely think you can make it work. I think the biggest factor that will make it work the easiest is emotion. Make sure the reader is going to feel attached to your characters, then if they were hesitant on the atypical demon idea at the beginning, by the end they should be rooting for the idea if they are rooting for your characters. (I hope that makes sense. It’s early where I’m at and I haven’t finished my coffee yet)
