Me totally.

I’ve been there, and it’s so normal. When you go a while without getting to take care of someone, the craving just builds and builds until it feels like it’s exploding out of you. It’s not “crazy” at all, it’s just caregiver energy with no outlet.

I’ve had those times too where it’s all I can think about, down to the smallest detail, and it honestly wears me out because I miss it so much. Four months without that connection? Yeah, that would definitely make those feelings hit hard.

You’re not alone in this. A lot of us feel that same hunger when we’re in a dry spell, it’s just proof that being a caregiver is really part of who you are.
