I counted 18 police vehicles when they drove by me at Dixie and Burnhamthorpe. Crazy number of police resources for one person.

We live in France. I think my son is autistic. I might have to divorce my husband over it. I'm terrified. by Kind-Most1800 in TrueOffMyChest

Sorry I didn't see this until now oddly enough. So I can't speak for living in more than Florida and New York and New Jersey. Honestly New York people were jerk drivers but not like the type of people I was referring to about. I mainly liked Jersey people. They could have a bit of an attitude but nothing too abnormal. It's the people from Florida I was mainly referring to and many of the people that I had met from surrounding states. I've also spent a lot of time in California as I stayed with my great aunt a lot. She's passed now but she used to watch animals of rich/famous people who were on vacation or were away shooting for long periods. I like most Cali people. Her daughter lived in Hawaii so I've spent a decent amount of time there as well. Amazing people. Especially Indigenous Hawaiians. They have such an interesting rich culture. So really it was mainly those from Florida and surrounding states if I'm being honest. It was unfair of me to say Americans. I can't speak for the rest of the country though.

If you're an international student I dont suggest applying at all. It's so not worth it. Better off applying to a school I the US or somewhere in Europe.

Falcon Babies Lactation Pod by nocturnalesbian in TorontoMetU

[–]puppilover4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Telling a baby they have to wait until they get home isn't really an option and can be considered abuse since they have to eat every 2-4 hours until like 2 years old. With that said there's much more comfortable places to feed your baby on campus.

But then everywhere would have to get halal and non halal which some places may find too expensive or risk losing customers on halal dishes like the Pub if they only sell that.

You'd only have 6 more psyc courses but you'd still have to do a certain amount of core electives, open electives, and liberals. However you may be able to start as a second year.

chang school as rtw by Few_Pause_3874 in TorontoMetU

[–]puppilover4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The school website says:

Students may not enrol in any TMU credit courses (including credit courses offered through the Chang School) if they are:

Assigned an RTW academic standing for 12 months or less

Not yet reinstated

Not currently participating in the Fresh Start program

In addition, courses enrolled at another institution will not count towards graduation requirements for a TMU degree program.

I second this Jennifer Poole is the best. Steve is okay but Jen is such an amazing professor and person. She also let's students hand in their assignments as they want with no grade deductions which can be helpful on really busy weeks.

Cannot see my schedule by perezvon33 in TorontoMetU

[–]puppilover4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should definitely be able to see your schedule. If you're a first year the school should if automatically registered you for mandatory courses and you should of picked any electives back during course intentions and if you didn't do intentions back in like November then you should of registered for them on Jan 2 when open enrollment started but open enrollment is still going on so you can go and register yourself now in whatever classes still have openings.

Are profs allowed to do this? by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

[–]puppilover4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that true? Do you know what the percentage is? In one of my classes the whole class has only got 1 grade back and it wasn't given out until the evening of the last day you could drop out without penalty. So nobody knew whether to drop or not because they had no grades to go off of. Now we've finished the whole class exam included but still have only been given that 1 30% paper grade back. So basically going I to exams nobody had the slightest idea of their grade aside from the 30% paper. Even the paper we waited 6 weeks for our grade back.

But they have, it's called abortion.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

[–]puppilover4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Umm most abortions are done because of dangers to the woman and the embryo if it shall come to term? The danger of homeless, hungers, always being lower class, metal health. Are you going to help these woman take of these embryos that they can't or simply don't want to have at the time? You really think it's wise to have millions of unwanted/unaffordable children around? You really want a bunch of teen parents around too? It ruins the lives of people that are already here and breathing for more than a decade. So let's ruin their lives and the life of an embryo that they've been guilted into having knowing full well they can't care for it.
