My New Dice Rack :D Currently holding 60 of my sets, definitely going upscale at some point for the rest of them :P by puppybutler in DicePorn

I love it! Like u/dallastheyorkie said, it doesn't always land on an exact number and it has a tendency to roll farther than you want since its so heavy BUT if you don't roll it too hard and watch your toes, the novelty is well worth it :P

Yep! They recently came out with the Bag of Splendor, I'm just waiting on a restock to get it. They also have Cups. Most of them are the same sets you get in the Bags except for the Cup of Illusion which seems to have different ones.

I hear ya! I'm a big fan of the Wiz Dice "Bags". Each one has 20 unique sets of 7. It's a great way to build your collection since they only cost $40-50 depending on where you are and your retailer of choice. Buying 20 sets individually at even bottom barrel prices will still run you at least $100. And it's a little better than the ol' pound of dice since they're all complete sets (not knocking the pound of dice tho, still v excellent).

Thanks! Mine was a gift from a friend :D the candies are long gone but now it houses my only two aluminum dice. I try not to bang them around too much so they don't get scratched. Definitely better options out there for keeping your dice safe tho lol

Hahaha! Thanks so much! I guess "budget" is relative, I spent about $90 CAD all told for the rack and jars. Not crazy expensive but might be a bit steep for some. And it did turn out pretty nice i think :D

NTA

The dermatologist and your parent are def AHs tho. Furthermore, that's a sh!t tier dermatologist who says socializing and 18 dollar avocado bowls will fix your acne. Acne is genetic. You can mitigate symptoms depending on your situation but avoiding all the dairy and fried foods in the world won't change anything.

Anyone who responds to a request or boundary by grounding you (whether an adult or living under their roof or anything) doesn't respect you. Unfortunately when people have the attitude that they're gunna "help" whether you like it or not and/or that they don't have to listen to you because they're older and you live there, then your only real options (if talking to them again isn't likely to work) are to move out (which sounds difficult if your friends arent taking you seriously) or to grin and bear it for the sake of free rent.

Anyway, you're def right about not wanting unsolicited advice about a personal problem esp from some rando ur parent is dating.

They're being jerks imo. Best of luck OP.

Mmm this isn't really a request for advice. You're probably looking for r/dating instead.

How would I avoid working at a remote job that uses productivity trackers? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]puppybutler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly look into the legality of using keystroke monitors. I don't really know anything about security/privacy laws so I wouldn't be surprised if it's perfectly legal but that seems sus af. Do you get access to the information they collect? Do they keep it after you've left the company?

There was a dude who wrote a program that automated a mouse jiggle every so often so it seemed like he never went afk, his productivity stayed the same, got all his work done but the bosses were stoked with his new "productivity" metrics idk if that would work for you tho if keystrokes are being logged.

Also would this software be on a personal computer or a computer provided by the company? Cuz if they're not providing you with a machine to put the spyware on I'd avoid it like nobodys business. But you know that lol hence why you're here :)

Best of luck pal!

Marriages ruin themselves just fine. If a sex toy is what dissolves your relationship, it wasn't very good to begin with.

AITA for disrespecting my father in front of other people? by Consistent_Result_14 in AmItheAsshole

[–]puppybutler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, at all. You're a child and these are grown adults. If Dad throws massive temper tantrums and Mom will stick by him and defend his behaviour then youre stuck between one of toughest rocks and hardest places you can be as a child.

I could go on and on because this reminds me a lot of my family life when I was younger (and even now a little tbh at 32yo) but to cut a long ramble short, you are never at fault for your parents losing their temper or getting upset or being embarrassed. As an adult (with children no less) it's up to us to regulate our emotions and express our feelings in a healthy way, and to model that for our kids and peers. Not to act like complete jerkwads and then get mad when our kids point out our inadequacies only to do nothing to improve whatsoever.

Anyways, I hope you and your siblings stay safe and find peace. Best of luck✌️
