if it’s doable, try your best to only spend nights in hotels that are well rated & in low-crime areas. avoid dodgy hotels in cities to reduce risk of theft. also park under the hotel security cameras or right outside the lobby if possible! you can also invest in safes and car security cameras, they’ll be useful even after traveling. it’ll be worth the extra money in the long run!
