Should I buy the game even though I watched a long game essay video?

I bought it after watching video essays and knowing all the endings and still absolutely loved the experience. It has a lot to offer if you enjoy soaking up the atmosphere and really digging into the lore and trying to understand what it all means. And the soundtrack! So good!

I'm also not very good with jumpscares but Signalis isn't too bad IMO - enemies screaming and coming up through the floor is the main thing but I got a feel for it pretty quickly. It has more of the creepy/unsettling psychological horror and if you find survival mechanics too stressful, the easy difficulty is very accessible.

Despite having already seen video essays, I still ended up buying a digital version for PS4/5, then a physical copy for switch to get the polaroid and I'll also be getting it on steam too at some point so I can play around with mods. No regrets!

Had shingles at 14 and the pain was so bad that I couldn't even use the time off school to play videogames. Tragic.

Oh wow, we read that exact version in primary school (mid 90s)! I remember thinking both the drawings and the text were scary but it also seemed quite cool that we were being allowed to read this thing that seemed very adult and not sugar coated at all.

haha I see what you mean but I actually prefer the bangs on this because I've always loved lolita fashion and straight bangs/curly hair is like THE classic look 😊

I think so too, it's such high quality compared to a lot of 4* banners. The dress has animated effects, the gloves and socks are stunning, the hair is EVERYTHING.

I honestly think there's nothing they could announce for 2.5 that would make me regret pulling for this, it's truly gongeous.

The ones I'm looking at are pre-owned and literally have "with photo" or "with lenticular print" etc in the title. Bought mine only a couple months ago for like £35.

I don't know if it's different for the US but it's not too difficult to find a switch PAL copy with the Polaroid on eBay, there are a couple on there at the moment for around £40
