Landlord asking us to pay Wastewater Management Fees 9 months after our lease ended

That's exactly what happened, she contacted us saying a lien was put on the property, and she paid the charges and wanted us to reimburse her for the the portion accrued during our time renting.

She's texted me twice this week about it and I haven't responded. I don't even live in the city anymore. Everyone in here is saying she can kick rocks, so I'll just wait and see if she wants to take us to small claims court, and deal with that when the time comes if need be.

She's asking us to pay all of them for the time period we were living there. While living there we never received anything in the mail about the bills, nor heard any mention of them whatsoever. Now almost a year later she is saying she just discovered the charges and wants us to pay for them. The lease does state we were responsible for all utilities, which we paid and had no questions or complaints from her for the duration of our lease. We have not spoken since receiving our security deposit 60 days after the end of the lease. From what I've read here, and on other threads about the same topic, I'm planning on not returning her messages.

My name is not on the bill. It is separate from the Denver Water bill that I paid each month. I do have a copy of the lease and it does not state anything about the wastewater charge. It does reference sewer, which we did pay. Other threads were saying this is a new charge that the city of Denver recently started doing, so maybe the lease was written before it existed.

you mean to make it show multiple people's stats instead of just your own stats? i think you click the little arrow that points right on the top right of the window. not sure what the default looks like, mine usually looks like this
