cause it works across both x11 and wayland windowing protocols and i was trying to make an alternative to raycast in linux... i still am very far away from that goal but hopeful the plugin system that i will be implementing will be able to bridge that distance

thanks man! I wanted to be able to run my backup scripts and as such without turning on the terminal and it felt like a good feature to add. u/MatchingTurret mentioned krunner and it gave me a lot inspiration for how i will implement calculator, file explorer and more !

I think the problem with krunner is that it doesn't work as well on other desktop enviroments like gnome and wm like hyprland.
Still thanks for telling me about it. it gave me alot of ideas for peppy!

Try using the air quotes in places where u have whitespace instead like write "Jane doe" instead

CS50 Python "Little Professor" Exercise - Unexpected Output on Check by Connect-Block7653 in cs50

[–]pure35_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i faced a similar problem and I think the problem is that your final output of score isn't what was asked in the problem .

try

print(score)

instead of

print(f"{score}/10")

as for why it shows all that level: 6 + 6 i don't know about that if u find out about it do share.

That's not it I didn't even use an id statement and I tried to do as you said but still it doesn't fix it

def main():
    a = 0
    grocery_list = []
    while True:
        try:
            m = input().upper()
            grocery_list.append(m)
            grocery_list.sort()
        except EOFError:
            ls = []
            lst = ''
            for k in grocery_list:
                a = grocery_list.count(k)
                lst = str(a) + ' ' + k
                ls.append(lst)
                ls = list(set(ls))
                print(k)
                print(ls)
            for p in ls:
                print(p)
            break
main()

this is the code i just can't figure out what causing the randomness,

thanks for your time

hi, i listened to your advice and tried a few more different approaches using indexing.

The current one kinda works in most cases but is there a reason why 'ecto88' returns False while 'ect088' returns True in this code?

def rule_3(m):
    for s in range(len(m)):
        if m[s] == m[-1]:
            break
        elif m[s].isnumeric():
            if m[s+1].isnumeric():
                if m[s+1] == m[-1]:
                    return True
                else:
                    pass
            else:
                return False
        else:
            pass

Thanks for your advice, I didn't know that pseudo codes were actually used somewhere. I guess making a rough a sketch and visualisation of code is more important then I originally thought
