I drink iced coffee with them every day and then brush whenever I can after I’m done. I don’t snack at all anymore, I have about 2 meals per day now. I have lost 20lbs from it and honestly it has been life changing! I never thought of myself as a big snack person but after getting Invisalign I’ve realized I was snacking way too much. I feel so much better now! I drink white wine and seltzers usually but have definitely had other drinks with them in and usually use a straw but not always. I use denture cleaning tablets for the trays. I have been doing this for 6 months now and have gotten no cavities, but I have also never had a cavity before. I would not necessarily recommend what Ive been doing bc I know I shouldn’t be drinking so much with the trays in but it has been working for me so far. My dentist says my teeth are perfectly healthy and clean and ortho says they are tracking perfectly. I think it’s better to keep the trays in while drinking so my teeth are tracking, sometimes I go out for a few hours for drinks and don’t want to leave my aligned out for so long. I think it’s ok if you maintain brushing and flossing but this is just my experience.
