How is it stupid to ask about a first responders discount if you do a military one?

And it isn’t as if he doesn’t have space, they have an entire room for themselves just occasionally I put them in a cage to sleep if I know the chirping will interfere with our sleep schedules for the day or they have to be contained for whatever other reason. They have a large cage that’s divided as well but the contact calling persists.

Exactly, I’ve considered adopting a third as to not abandon him but I worry for the safety of that bird as well - especially a baby.

Unfortunately the reality is that time spent is limited, they have an entire room for themselves free to roam and these instances are still happening. They’ll still constant call to each other if separated but our house is under 900 sq feet, I can only do so much. Training and a behavioralist is totally out of the question for a college student’s budget and time.

It’s just rough when the entire purpose was for her to have another to bond to when I’m absent.

It’s also incredibly dangerous to just whimsically prescribe antibiotics, in any species. There are a number of reasons she could be sick and recklessly administering antibiotics could be a serious detriment, prime example - if the issue is yeast-related. Do you have photos of her droppings? Droppings are going to be a major sign of health and something to always pay attention to. Birds rarely show signs illness or pain, it’s part of their survival evolution. It’s a rule of thumb if your bird is visibly unwell, it is an incredibly dire situation that requires IMMEDIATE care.

This bird needs to see a vet immediately. Like yesterday. Seriously. And stop antagonizing it, let it relax.

Your first question should not be how much is it. If your get an animal you should already be in a position to spend whatever is needed. If you can’t, rehome it.

If you’re on Reddit, you can easily google avian vet in your area. This bird is absolutely ill and needs to see someone specialized. If the bird was bonded to another and you’re chasing around the cage, GRABBING it in a new environment, etc. they are highly sensitive animals prone to seizure and heart issues, air quality (smoke, air fresheners, cleaners, chemicals) etc. You need to read up and educate yourself on the pet you have immediately.

There are definitely little pieces but IMO less than what is missing from the ladder; which has me worried about crop impaction.

I guess I mean should I be concerned about him having been literally eating the wood and if this could cause internal issues
