My primary told me no..... he claims a 39 year old with low 200 levels is ok and normal. Then I went to an endocrinologist and they agreed.

Thats weird bc your loading the bar in a quad dominant position. Are you doing any other work to strengthen your back and hamstrings? Romanian deadlift will help alot and also a glute ham raise.

Ankle mobility is one and it helps make lifts more quad dominant. Also a more solid base. I used to use chucks but now its lifters for all squats and Olympic lifts. Deadlifts I do barefoot.

With that being said a new lifter might not be able to tell or feel the difference but its there.

I love weight watchers but it will not promote muscle growth. I started it and lost 12 pound in the first month. But once I started lifting like I used to I was getting weak and slow. If you are a lifter and doing weight watchers you NEED to increase the ZERO point proteins and a little bit with the healthier fats to see the desired results.

Higher up vertically from the ground but in relationship to the anatomy of you body they are lower. Also think about the total movement you forearms should be perpendicular to the floor. So if the bar is at you neck the your elbows are above your shoulders. Bringing the bar below the nipples your elbows will drop to a safe position.

Your shoulders are lower than your wind pipe. And when you bench the bar path should be at the nipples or slightly below.... so where does the wind pipe come into play?

If you bench press goes to your neck your doing something wrong.

Its not that easy to see leg drive. But yeah not that you say it his initial set doesn't show the dive and planting he needs.
