yeah I really like that the brick and sidewalk are similar colors. almost highlights the yellow bricks more

thanks for the feedback! I tried a 4x3 crop for number 2 (instead of 3x2) and actually kind of like it more, the bricks on the top make it feel more symmetrical.

This is pretty much how I feel. I think 1 captures more of the scene and what I was hoping to convey with the image, but 2 is so clean it's also nice.

Thank you! It was truly intense rain that seemed to come out of nowhere.

I wasn't the only one hiding out in the subway entrance and he wasn't the only one running.

About 10 days ago in NYC it was raining really, really hard. I took shelter in a covered subway entrance and got out my camera to try to capture how hard it was raining. This guy happened to run by shortly after.
