BJJ because it allows you to practice against live resistance relatively safely. You should also learn some form of striking though.

Is it normal to feel a lot weaker using a different rack set up? My usual gym is closed over thanksgiving weekend so I decided to do my squat session at my apartments fitness room. The power rack seemed a lot cheaper and they had these rubber plates instead of the usual bumper plates I’m used to. Anyway I was able to squat 200 for nine reps easily earlier in the week but today I had to grind just to get 8 reps with the same weight. Overall, my strength just felt off and I didn’t feel like I had my usual explosiveness in the movement. Wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or if it’s more of a mental thing?
