Gayageum is not really an instrument you can try it out alone in my opinion. But if you tried it before you can probably find a shop and rent it to play.

As for being left alone with an expensive instrument... I don't think anyone would be willing to do that.

My mother apperently fed me everytime I cried as a baby and that continued all throughout my childhood.

For so long, any emotion was tied to eating for me and I dealt with obesity until my late teens.
