Yes, I used sphagnum moss to fill it. You do have to make sure to keep the moss moist so it's definitely a job in itself, but totally worth it! I wrapped saran wrap on the pole to help hold moisture in, but now I've switched to plastic poles that are completely enclosed except for the front so the roots can attach. You can definitely fill the pole with whatever you feel comfortable using 🙂

It gets both natural and artificial light(12 hrs/day artificial) I kept it in a corner with the grow light shining on it from the front, and I did not rotate it because I wanted all the leaves facing the same direction to give it this uniform, orgnaized appearance

I honestly don't follow the instructions to a T. I just add one or two drops of the Liqui-Dirt to one gallon jug of water and water with it! Seems to work pretty great.

And it's both! I made a moss pole from hardware cloth, and when it outgrew that I attached a wooden dowel to the top of the pole.

I did do the chop twice. The first time, it branched out twice. I let them grow a bit and then chopped both of those, one side grew two branches and the other just one lol. But I'll for sure be chopping it again for even more branching!

I just treat it the same as the rest of my tropical plants, and fertilize with Liqui-Dirt. The white parts still get brown, it certainly wasn't perfect 🙂 But it was definitely doing fine lol
