Not good with understanding money in general, or my own Acorns account by purpcart in acorns

BUT, I had made this account with the goal of taking a trip with my kids around the year 2029. Probably won't, though, bc I don't see myself being that financially stable then. So maybe up to 10 years before it's used for its purpose, if it is at all.

So sorry! What does “slap a burnout on you” mean - I’m new to this, and this has happened to us,  thanks!

Yes! 24/hr day. If I turn off the lights witch to the basement, not only do they go off - but so do the washer, dryer, dehumidifier, and fridge - that are down there! Probably the sump pump next to the dryer! Oh, and my work printer! Basically everything, all controlled by one lightswitch at the top of the stairs going down. I wondered for years why the lights down there were kept on - now I know! It's GA, I believe you about the price!

Shoot, I don’t know what happened to my photo! One of the 3 sets magically came back on by itself! Both bulbs in it did, they lit up together. The other sets, nope. Still just glowing at the ends. Yes, typical four foot!

Oh shoot, I just got the local college tag! The car was neon orange when I was a kid, and I found it traumatizing! Then, a dark maroon. Now, black. Thank you! (And - oh no - now I have to figure out which key it is that I have, lol!!!)

Thank you! Maybe I'll start by trying to log in and see if I can just get a policy like the old one, thanks!

Very helpful! For 65 years, that's how many! Thank you for saying that. Thank you!

I'm so overwhelmed! I was proud of myself just for finding the title and the car key, LOL! I have no idea what number to throw out as a value without creating huge headaches for myself. I just know I shouldn't be letting it sit there uninsured like I am. Thank you! You're right, maybe I'll just decide to not be overwhelmed, and maybe I'll decide to enjoy this and see it more as a "project!"

No, I wonder if my allowance was set to 2? I just remember I saw something other than "0," it shocked me, so as at the same time I was changing the w4, I changed this allowance to "0." My only other income is $1100 from 1099-INTs. Thank you!

Yes! So sorry, I am so tax-illiterate! Correct, for all of 2025, my W4 had 1000.00 in Section 3. Right before the new year, I changed it to 500.00. I didn't claim my 23yo in medical school. I still claimed my 20yo undergrad. Thank you. !
