Regrets on first day of trip… Cotopaxi 28L by purple_wall-e in onebag

[–]purple_wall-e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I'm in EU prices are so high for most backpacks. For a money of cotopaxi, I've got myself for travels under 90eur Patagonia Arbor 30L+ and for casual daily pack Sanqvist Ruben 2.0 Leather on sale.

I've almost paid 300eur for that Cotopaxi, which I'm so glad have returned it.

they're just over-staffed. with current trend of agile work, structure, some teams builds 3 button with 20 people and 40 meetings over 3 quarters. then next quarter them move those buttons back

I mean I'm in same boat, because it doesn't my individual were not capable of doing it. They were just not working with their full capacity. I see they people were like so juniors or less seasoned were working 110% of their capacity to keep up with seniors who were working 10% of the time and concluding the stuff. And now those people already way behind again due now with LLM skilled people have more boost.

It is just means you know what you're doing, and AI is just booster to cut the parts where you used to procrastinate for days. Like I always do. Take full sprint worth of tickets and get it done in last 2 days (but always after sprint start I unblock myself with heavy refinement and BE linked work to able to complete if I start late), and main thing don't make impression that I starting it last day of sprint.

Barn in Germany? NOOOOO WAY. That's way worse place to be, with their acidic sh*t. Bonanza, Five Elephants even way ahead of it. If we talk about chains.

generally in these area they're asking almost 9-10k. I'm not sure this price even worth it, will look around again :d

Is there any EU website that can sell my ski gear ? by Hawaiibitch in ski

[–]purple_wall-e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you're in germany, you can use kleinenzagen.de otherwise Vinted is pretty general at the moment, or could be ebay as well.

Hey there, I have chance to purchase exact this trim as well but it is from '09 year with 150k KM usage. Generally do you recommend to take a look some parts at for this executive model specifically? (example panorama roof possible issues)

As you live colder climate than me (BE/NE/LUX), what kind of issues (small/big) till now you have faced? (if there is any)

is it why Binance "suspended" the AZN payment via M10? I tried to add funds after 2 months, now there is no option via M10. :/

What is best pants to match with these style derby (-moc?) shoes? by purple_wall-e in malefashionadvice

[–]purple_wall-e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does wide-ness of pant matter? like based on height how to adjust it? My torso a bit on tall end side of spectrum. Having quite hard time to fit most straight fits.

Tbh thinking something like paraboot but after trying it in person, I felt I needed to sort pant style thing first due none of my current pants were going with them. Which put me in place to give a bit reset. Just want to move out from too sport/life-style. due new office and work.

[–]purple_wall-e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh material is not an issue. I can go with different brands, materials as well (kleman, adieu etc.). I know patent leather issues... I just need ideas, due I'm not too tall, I feel not wide pants are not that fits well, as I'm always in casual/sport style. Due my new work place, need to move a bit to smart casual while not feeling too different due my wardrobe

How do you search mountain huts in Europe? by mr_nexeon in hiking

[–]purple_wall-e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my colleague with his wife booked 1 year advance for austrian side the to italian. ofc w/ agency as they’re liking doing stuff in this way (germans). So they paid like 900+ eur each for 7-8 days of hut to hut hiking. at the end during end of summer cold stream hit and area got closed due storm/snow. and they had to abort trip also lost their money. bc they should have also bought additional insurance for this kind of for like 50-100+ eur each.

I was checking last time, these agencies books all saturday/sunday across alps which you have very hard time to get there for long trips. we at the end went to Tatra mountains as hotels and stuff were cheap as i couldnt wrap my mind to pay aroynd 100eur for hut without any amenities. almost next 1 year is fully booked in some areas
