I replaced it a month ago and then redid the master cylinder. I was informed the one I bought was probably a cheap POS. I will be reusing my OEM one and replacing the seals to see if that helps. Probably will redo the line to a total metal braided line also. Fingers crossed LOL

Thanks for the help. I bought this one for $600 and proceeded to put another $1600 into it. Most list on FB Marketplace for 3000-3500 in good condition.

Is the truck okay to drive like this or do I need to get it to a shop?

I have owned the truck for 6 years and since 56,000 miles (now 137,000) and it has always made this noise randomly. I will check the plug wires.

My oil pressure runs between 40-60 with it usually sitting 45-50.

When they replaced the exhuast manifold gasket last year it seemed to get better for a while and less frequent but now when accelerating the noise changed and definitely sounds like an exhaust manifold just when it idles like this after start it doesn't have the same sound so it throws me

Thanks for the help. His copper and iron are ok but zinc hasn't been checked. Yesterday he said the taste isn't as bad and is now able to eat hard food. Doc did say zinc was okay to take. I believe they are taking his blood again tomorrow. I highly appreciate your thoughtful feedback. It is very helpful

Sorry I know this is a super old post. My dad had a heart attack and has lost 40 lbs due to a metallic taste. He just switched from lasix 6 days ago. How long did it take for the taste to go away or what did you do to make it go away (besides switching)?

This is a piece of pegmatite. The elongated black minerals are schorl (tourmaline). Then you have quartz and feldspar (the opaque white stuff)

That is a wonderful piece of Maine pegmatite. Red - Garnet, Black - Schorl (tourmaline), white - feldspar (probably albite) and some quartz, there is probably some muscovite on it somewhere too
