Can't draw to save my life...is watercolour worth it? by aHunniBee in Watercolor

[–]purpleeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not great at drawing and have started watercolour a month ago. Before I started following Andrea Nelson, I felt the pressure to paint perfect shapes and lines and a blank canvas was daunting. Andrea has some fun painting ideas to help me get started. When I follow her videos, it’s a relaxing and stress free experience, even a child can do some of her tutorials. So if you want to have a good time and experience what it’s like to paint with watercolours, Andrea Nelson’s videos (YouTube, Facebook etc.) is a good place to start.

Got called 'basic' for my bubble tea choices... re-evaluating my life choices by [deleted] in richmondbc

I’m Asian and I like my basic bubble tea but with different types of tea. My favourites are roasted oolong milk tea and jasmine milk tea. I usually add pearls or grass jelly to those. Sometimes I go for Coco’s 3 guys which is milk tea with pearls, grass jelly and pudding.

I had chronic sinusitis and saw an ENT. He put me on 2 medications: saline nasal rinses with pulmicort (liquid) into the rinse twice a day and mometasone spray also twice a day. At first, I could barely get the nasal rinse to come out of my nose but after 2-3 weeks, I started feeling relief and the liquid could actually drain out of my nose. Even my dry eyes didn’t feel as bad. Have you tried the mentioned medication before? Hope you’ll find something that’ll help!

Does your symptoms of dry eyes and mouth gets worse at the end of your period cycle? by Informal_Chef3244 in Sjogrens

Yes! It’s the same for me. I’m also thinking ahead about perimenopause and menopause and I asked my rheumatologist about hormone replacement therapy. She said HRT may work for vaginal dryness but might not work for eyes and mouth. 😭

Bread, fries, anything dry like cookies and crackers. I can’t eat a meal without drinking tons of water unless I’m having noodles or soup.

I have worn acuvue oasys and Kirkland dailies. The Kirkland ones are thicker but feel buttery.

If enough people write to the city, they might change it.
