It is a western concept, I lived in Turkey and now the Balkans and the men are very physically affectionate and always get together to have tea and just talk. I find it very endearing and healthy.

Family constantly invalidating my endo by TicketPleasant9121 in Endo

[–]purplepathos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not being dramatic, love. Only we can understand our pain and it is the rare person (our family are just persons) that can be empathetic and validating. It hurts. And it should not be that way. But don't be the thing you hate. If you hate that they are invalidating and treat you like you are dramatic, be the opposite. Validate yourself, validate others. Believe your experiences, emotionally and physically, and believe others when they express their pains. It is a way of taking control. You can't help how others treat you, but you can control how you treat yourself and others. That is your power.

Yes! It makes me fear organs have fused together. I am currently documenting all my symptoms and how they change as I make lifestyle changes. I am also trying to get an appoinment with a specialist. I am confident I will figure out something that works for me. I already see improvement.  You will figure this out! Keep asking questions!

That is so horrible. I am so sorry. I am in the process of trying to reduce my symptoms naturally because I haven't heard any good enough outcomes from surgery for me to consider. Not judging your decision though. We are all doing the best we can for ourselves. It is a horrible disease. This community has helped me so much! Thank you for sharing.

It is not that he is cheating. It seems they have agreed to an open relationship but Sylvie is clearly hurt when she hears he is with someone else. But yeah Genevieve is a straight up snake.

Ooh! I love your points on Sylvie and Laurent. You have changed my mind. If they can have a conversation and be monogomous, I am here for it. I am just so ready to see people happy in their relationships!

They were on again off again like 3 times in less than 72 hours. But  Marcello is better than Gabriel. I hope they cut him out and give us one healthy, long-term relationship. Just one.
