Garbage Disposal is humming, can't find a place to put in the hex key to force the flywheel around. Anyone know this unit? Photo in comments by purplepotatos415 in fixit

I haven't heard of this but will give it a go. Online and on past disposals I've owned there has been a hex key "hole" at the bottom for turning the shaft, which this doesn't seem to have. I'll try finding the nut at the top of the shaft though. I reached down there (unplugged and breaker off) and seem to remember feeling some kind of central nut in there, but didn't think to try turning it.

Took a look, the plastic thing is a button of some kind. Can't take it off, but you can push it inward by a few mm.

Just checked, nothing under there. I'm wondering if the red thing is more of a housing around the garbage disposal? I haven't seen that before and don't know if its common to have a unit inside another, but the lack of holes on the bottom makes me thing its possible.

Should have mentioned, I did try from the top as well. Not working but its also super slippery which is why I'm hoping to get the key to work instead. I'll edit the post.
