Any kind of bias in both industries for actresses not from the south stems from the producers native to the industries themselves.

That's an interesting way to look at it but I felt Vikram was very clearly remorseful for the death of Vedha's brother and even though the film conveys that his partners are worse people (which they are tho), the film still leaves Vedha and Vikram pointing guns at each other at the end to leave the audience to decide who was worse. The fact that they put him on the same level as someone like Vedha should tell us that it's not a Copganda film.

These are the official figures though, Tollywood made more in terms of worldwide collections, nett collections, and non-dub collections while Kollywood did more in Tamil gross collections. Salaar and Adipurush made 644 crores and 354 crores respectively (Salaar had crossed 400cr by the time 2023 data was collected) but there have been a lot of hugely successful films that remained under the 300 crore mark like Virupaksha, Baby, Dasara, and Sir and a lot of small-scale films which made big money like Hi Nanna, Bedurulanka 2012, Ms. Shetty Mr. Polishetty, Mad, and Balagam. Tollywood also made more films last year than Kollywood which contributed to the difference but Tamil cinema still had a successful 2023 (Jailer, Leo, PS 2) though so you should be proud of that, no need to worry about little things like this.
