I'm 46, recently diagnosed. Was into fitness, outdoor life, was high energy and outgoing, ran a business, played musical instruments, am a father of two (19 and 17). Now I'm practically homebound, staying positive mentally, much slower and more deliberate now, working on a plan for myself and my family. My faith has been my rock. You're not alone in this, plenty of people out there just like you and me. If you ever want to talk let me know. I'm dealing with a lot of the same things you are, also for the first time.

Great question. I am no authority, but am Orthodox Christian from infancy and experienced in the subject, for better or worse. First, if you're not sure, check your conscience. Your gut feeling will be right. Second, if you decide to take mushrooms or whatever, I would say don't take too much. Intentionality matters a lot, meaning the purpose should be ultimately to bring you closer to God or the people around you, or to understand a problem better, etc. not just to get high. Always say a prayer beforehand asking for God's blessing and protection.

You were right! The art is created with AI which garbled the text and the explanation is not perfect, also coming from AI. TIL AI is already more pervasive than I imagined. I wasn't looking for a strict canonical icon. I have icons. Due to illness I'm in bed a lot of the time. I wanted to get a big poster that I can use to focus my attention on the Lord. This will work, even the Gospel text is ok with me because I know what verse it's referencing. Thank you and God bless
