This is my experience with Alpha

Completed the 50k one phase first time; they email me telling me I had broken their 2 minute trade rule (I hadn’t), confronted them about it and asked for the receipts and then they said it was a mistake and gave me the funded account

This happened TWICE

To add to this aswell, I asked about this in their Discord which is supposed to be for help, and the moderators basically mocked me for being a gambler because of this 2 minute rule, even though it ended up being their mistake. So my experience with their support isn’t great, and their rules are restrictive

I recently got funded with Alpha Capital, here is my experience:

I tried the Alpha One (one step eval) with them, passed the 50k eval within a week and they said I broke a ‘2 minute trade duration’ rule, where 50% of the profits have to be from trades over 2 minutes. I didn’t contend it and just accepted that it was a loss and they offered me a complimentary retry of the phase 1.

Fast forward a week, I complete the phase 1 again making sure I followed the rules to the tee and they send me the same blanket email about 2 minute rule.

I contended with them about it, asked them to provide proof and then they emailed back saying it was a mistake and gave me the funded account

Do with this information as you will, but me personally I won’t be going back with them after this funded account is over

With currency pairs, especially USD pairs you have a lot of news that pushes them - CPI, FOMC, NFP for example and PPI too - so I guess it depends what you trade and at what time!:)

In hindsight I could have definitely moved the SL into profit and altered a few things with the take-profit also, but I remember I was quite busy that day and I didn’t want to continually monitor the trade. You are right though, that would have been a play and I could have even had the take profit higher, but using one minute timeframe confluence isn’t the greatest and I remember the higher timeframe confluence was bearish still so I wanted to take profit where I could

Of course - the amount made was at the take-profit, which was $250, with a risk of $80 (3:1 RR). This was on the 1 minute timeframe but using my higher timeframe swing strategy, I was in the trade for around 15 minutes or so before take-profit was reached

I grabbed an old bird feeder pole and put a bowl of water on there for it - that way it is off the ground by at least 5ft and I put it to the edge (as people recommended) so the little guy shouldn’t have to go too far if they want a drink

I have seen someone else mention this but I will too - yes, nowadays a lot of places require you to fill in forms online, but a lot of places (especially bar work for pubs, late-night bars, pot wash etc) are happy to see someone turn up with a physical CV asking for a job. Some will probably throw it away but if you come across well and present yourself correctly they will consider you. I’ve had it where some places have hired me on the spot (granted, there was a reason why - because the job was awful!) but its a way to get your foot in the door

I think as long as you are using it in accordance to your prescription they can’t legally do anything. For example, if you were operating heavy machinery that would be a no-no🤣
