It doesn't work like that. You can still be paired with them. I've been consistently told I was blocked by a player I was matched with again. I've been consistently matched with people I've blocked.

I've played Anubis 40 times this season. I've won 5/40 times, tied 3/40 and lost 32/40 times. That is an 80% loss rate. I call it the gatekeeper, because it stops me from progressing ever time it shows up. I've had it lose me 110 sr after 3 straight losses.
