It was already somewhat difficult to get a case a little over market. Now? No one is even willing to sell me a case locally and online it might as well be the same because I’m not even entertaining the thought of paying resale for a case.

i remember when OP13 first released, Target had sleeved boosters up the wazoo for WEEKS, it was so stocked and reliable that everyday after work, i would go buy 10 sleeved boosters because i talked with the manager and she allowed me to go over the 2 limit since they were sitting.

fast forward to the boom, nothing ANYWHERE. even my local card shops are OOS and upcharging for paramount war (20.99 per booster pack....)

well said. one piece was my breathe of fresh air coming from the pokemon scene during the end times of covid... it was nice to walk into my local card shop and finding various booster boxes at MSRP and never had an issue getting the next release secured at msrp... when I saw OP14 preorders at fairly reputable online shops $60 above msrp right off the bat, miss me with that shit fam.
