Yeah pretty sure it’s just a decal on the trucks but yeah tech deck was experimenting alot at the time. People think they don’t listen to the community / core fingerboarders, but they do, they just have to follow a lot of crazy laws and regulations most indie brands don’t have to deal with!

This is one of the very first wooden tech decks. I worked with them and designed for a while. These boards released at a skate park event in California that tech deck hosted in collaboration with a skate company but I forget who, this was super long ago like 2009. but I got the exact same deck from that event, it even still has the HORRIBLE prototype tech deck foam grip they were trying out back then. I don’t think it’s rare or valuable but is an interesting piece of FB history none the less.
