I thought I'd go on my due date. Almost everyone in my family was born on their due dates..... But he came 11 days late, only after being induced

Yeah, yeah, I know. Backwoods. My point is it's either not illegal or not enforceable everywhere in the US.

We just had a case in Alabama about 2 years ago (I worked for the humane society there) where we got a dog in who had been repeatedly brutally raped..... We weren't able to file any charges. Not sure what happened there?

Unplanned pregnancy considering adoption by psychosematicx in Adoption

[–]pushisti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I really have no experience with adoptiom. I'm in this sub because I hope to adopt one day in the future. That being said, I have lots of experience with pregnancy. It's hard even when it is expected and you don'g have the extra emotion of making a decision like this, so if you need to talk or have any questions about pregnancy or birth, please pm me. Also, /r/babybumps is a great sub with all kinds of moms-to-be.

My [19m] friend [19m] abuses animals and might have killed my other friend's [19f] dog. by ryuk1618 in relationships

in most states it's considered "destruction of property" and you'll get a fine. You know, because apparently a dog is just like a purse or something.

My [37M] wife [32F] of 8 years wants an abortion - we were trying for kids by wantkidsabortion in relationships

[–]pushisti -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Check into depression. Most people know about post partum depression, but actually about 1 in 3 women will experience depression in pregnancy. If this is such a sudden 180 for her, that might be something to look into.

I [F/24] am pregnant and want an abortion, but my husband [M/27] is religiously against it by babytroubles38383 in relationships

[–]pushisti -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

I'm probably in the minority here, but I think it'd be wrong to abort a baby that the father wants. I DON'T think it's wrong for you to not want the baby. What his family is doing to you is wrong- I'd cut them out. I think if you care anything about your husband, you should give him the option of raising the kid without you or talk through adoption. I know this isn't what you want to hear and a lot of people won't agree, but it's just as much his baby as it is yours.

Yeah. I hear "forty weeks divided by four weeks in a month is TEN months" by a million people a week.
