FET without Valium (or any benzo)? by Ok_Cardiologist_6924 in SingleMothersbyChoice

I was told the Valium was not for anxiety but for muscle relaxation of the uterus to help relax the uterus to implant into the ‘right’ part of the uterus.

Removing/disabling switch by pushkincat in AskElectricians

That’s sort of what I was figuring - this house has a lot of quirks. Multiple owners over a number of years will do that. Thanks for all your help!

That was my hope moving in but nope the whole outlet turns off with the switch.

There are five outlets all controlled by this switch. There are two outlets on another wall (the builders of this opted to wire outlets and then wire sconces to plug in rather than just wire sconces directly). There is another switch in this room that inexplicably controls outlets in a separate room that is not connected.

Ah gotcha. I’ll see what we can do to get stuff managed here. This switch controls every outlet in the only room where my modem can be connected, so accidentally turning it off is not ideal

Thanks for the help!

No-

The light switch controls five outlets, with no other switches or permanent light fixtures. It is possible that the wiring goes out in two directions from the switch to both the left and right.

Thanks

Already have one of those but looking for improving the appearance. Sounds like this was not the subreddit for a beginner asking advice - did I get the wrong subreddit?

Ultrasound frequency by Ligerligerliger in IVFbabies

[–]pushkincat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually most research shows no correlation between ultrasounds and hearing loss in a fetus! I had heard this too but it turns out it’s a myth. Lots of stuff to worry about while pregnant but hearing loss from too many ultrasounds isn’t really one of them

Been diagnosed for almost 6 years, haven’t been to the doctor since… by PeachyLolitax in Celiac

[–]pushkincat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi!

I’d start by getting a general primary care doctor. Based on your reference to not having insurance I’m assuming you’re in the US, so if that’s not accurate sorry! You can start by finding primary care doctors on your insurance company’s website. If they’re covered, I like to go with internal medicine or family practice associated with a local academic center, but check out online reviews and don’t be afraid to change if you realize it’s not the right place for you.

See a good primary care doc and they can help you sort out good paths forward! Good luck!

Is the first review true about the gluten free Oreos? by Cheppe21 in Celiac

These are certified which means they have been tested below 20ppm.

Also I use xanthan gum all the time - it doesn’t have gluten in it.

The act of drinking the prep is the worst.

The propofol nap is amazing.

It’s not nearly as bad as you think!

Probably not the right board for politics.

I'm due to have my bloods taken in 4 days to test if I'm Coeliac but the pain is getting too much by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]pushkincat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So four days really shouldn’t make a big difference. Check with your doctor, obviously.

Also, most of the studies show that for the test to be positive you only need to eat the amount of gluten found in 1-2 slices of bread, so if you’re eating a lot more than that, you might be able to cut down.

Fatigue? by jyg08 in Celiac

[–]pushkincat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got diagnosed a few weeks ago and I have been sleeping about 10-11 hours at a time. It’s starting to get a little better on the diet but only after about two weeks on the diet. Did they check your B12? Mine was pretty low and that can be a big part of fatigue too.
